Rick has been practicing as a health care practitioner for over 30 years. He blends the practice of physical therapy, massage therapy, clinical hypnotherapy and health coaching, to provide an integrative model of healing. His patients seek him out for his knowledge and skill in the treatment of acute orthopedic and sports-related injuries, as well as complex chronic pain syndromes. Practicing an integrated approach to healing, he is dedicated to assisting his patients achieve pain relief and restoration of function, as well as improving their quality of life through enhancing health awareness, physical fitness, and positive living skills.

Dr. Green enjoys helping people “get their life back”. Whether it is helping someone get back to work, back to sport, working in the garden, or walking their favorite trail, he experiences special joy in being a part of his patient’s healing. To him, they are like family.

Born and raised in Illinois, Rick competed as a two-sport university athlete, achieving national recognition in both. He has been in private practice most of his career in California, where he was also a volunteer coach for both high school and club sports. He served as a health care practitioner in China for several years, where he was the physical therapy director of an international medical clinic. Rick is happily married to his wife, Fataneh. They came to the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley 7 years ago to be closer to family and become part of a strong, vibrant community. They are now the caretakers of Tolt Hill Family Farm.
